ACTING CLASSES BEGIN SEPTEMBER 10!

INTRODUCTION TO CREATING CHARACTERS****

Introduction to the Art & Craft of Acting - A beginning class in acting. This class leads to the intermediate class at Bob Bills Studio. Two Times: Saturdays 10 am to 1 pm for 6 weeks $125

Advanced Art & Craft of Acting- This class is for advanced and experienced actors. A scene study class that focuses on the application of the art and craft of acting. Monday afternoons 1pm to 4pm for 6 weeks $125
Comedic Acting - Getting laughs with text!
The comedic acting class is for intermediate and experienced actors and improvisers. It is a lot harder to get laughs with an actual script than most actors/improvisers might think. Maybe you are already having trouble?
I help you break down the script to get laughs in the text that many actors/improvisers never see. Also, I help you to develop honest, naturalistic interactions with other actors so you can sell your character. I do this by stripping away the mugging, clowning and other artifice that actors/improvisers use to attempt to sell, but that leave the audience flat. Once you're interaction is honest, I then help you inflate your character such that you can get away with everything called for in the script and beyond. After all, it is how much and what you can get away with that counts!
You will be amazed as you see yourself and others in the class get better in real time before your very eyes.:)
This class will run in the next term.
